“Throughout my life, I have benefited greatly from my involvement in sports. With the help of great coaches and programs in my youth, I learned a strong work ethic, how to compete fairly and graciously, how to be a team player, and many aspects of leadership. All of these lessons have played an important part of my personnel success. I have seen financially challenged students with solid academic discipline and performance, gain access to higher education through their athletic talents, provided they received the financial support they needed to fully participate in  high school sports.  With the help of the community, my vision is to help provide an opportunity for young people who have the desire to participate, grow, and succeed through sports.”
